A Cool New Bakehouse Just Opened In Dubai

If you’re spending your mornings (or post-gallery afternoons) around Alserkal Avenue in Al Quoz, there’s a new spot you’ll want on your rotation: Subko Coffee Roasters & Bakehouse has officially opened its first UAE outpost, and it’s much more than a “grab a latte and go” kind of place.

What to expect (and what to order)

Subko’s Dubai space brings together microlot specialty coffee, fresh sourdough loaves, buttery croissants, and a full cacao programme under one roof so you can come for a quick coffee, or stay and make it a whole sensory detour.

It’s the kind of menu where a clean filter coffee makes perfect sense next to a flaky viennoiserie, and if you’re a chocolate person, you’ll want to browse their bean-to-(and pod-to-)bar side of things too.

The space: part café, part “behind-the-scenes”

One of the best parts is the setup: Subko is designed like an experience centre, with an emphasis on craft and transparency (yes, you’ll see production in action).

The venue unfolds across two levels with an immersive ground floor concept and an upstairs café area that nods to Subko’s Bombay roots, reimagined for Al Quoz.
